Daniel, the founder of the No Bullshit Retreat is a certified Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga teacher and Sound Healer. Besides the traditional forms of his yoga practice, he enjoys sharing something he calls electric flow, combining a spicy Vinyasa flow with electronic music. Love for music also leads his path towards Tibetan Sound Bowls as a tool for meditation and other sound healing practices.
Originating from event/nightlife business and advertising his passion for sound and event organization brought him to the idea to organize yoga retreats with a no bullshit approach. Bringing a practice that helped him to keep his feet on the ground in rowdy times to people that might not be that open to such things, is his biggest mission. “Talking about spirituality like talking to a friend in a bar” is the way he believes to reach yoga aficionados as well as newbies to the practice in a down to earth way and move them right where they feel they need to be moved.

Program explaining
During this beautiful week of dropping the bullshit and getting back to what actually matters to us. Don’t know what that is? We’ll take a look at it together with the help of some practices to un-focus the mind from the endless thoughts and stories and be with what matters most to you.
Beyond that, there will be a lot of fun activities ranging from Sound healing to Yoga and energy work. Here a small outline so you can have a better idea about what to expect.
Opening Circle – Sounds super spiritual but don;t worry, we just take a look whats below the bullshit and introduce ourselves in a fun way.
Pranayama Breathing Techniques – Through easy breathing techniques we will uncover old breathing patterns and get to know little hacks on how to get the mind and our body pumped or relaxed.
Daily Yoga – We will have a daily flow that will get a bit more advanced each day but follow the same routine each day so also newbies to yoga have fun and experienced practitioners enjoy a deepening of their existing practice and get the one or other challeng e. Style will be a Ashtanga influenced Vinyasa flow where we can choose to turn the intensity up a notch depending on the dynamics of the group. The beauty of this intimate setting is the fact that we can also work on individual issues or goals along with the set flow.
Sound bowl Meditation – There are plenty of ways where we already recognise the power of sound and vibrations. But it took till the early 80ies till people realised that certain
vibrationsandsoundwaves🌊 Resonatewithcertainpartsofthebody.Andthatswhat
we will do with the sound and vibration of sound bowls. Its quite simple. Fill one of these bowls with water, bring it to swing…the water will go crazy and jump and splash. Now take the body, with 60-75% water/liquid and imagine what happens if you hold a swinging bowl in close proximity to the body. Your body jumps from the inside. And now there are different bowls, different sizes and different tones that create a frequency for guess what…different areas of the body. Like this you work upwards, loosen up all parts of the body and if needed place special attention on areas of trouble or pain. Certain feelings and emotions can have a serious impact on your body, take belly ache from stress for example.
This Kind of stuff results in “energetic” blockages in the long run and with the bowls you can work on these blockages. The soda-plexus, stores a lot of anger, the pelvis area stores fear and sexual blockage…just to name a few examples. Let the water jump and you’ll quickly feel a bit more at ease with the area and issue you have. And if you have no issues…well congratu-fucking-lations then it is an amazing and healthy way to space out and relax. Be our guest.
Energy Work (Movement from Shaking to dancing)
Combining various eastern traditions, we will use body movement to release energy and
make it something you can really feel and experience. We will work with
Laughing Yoga – The name almost gives it away…expect something funny.
No bullshit philosophy discourse on the here and now – Based on the works of Eckhardt Tolle and his best selling book “The power of Now”
Senses Meditation and Closing circle
Also a small surprise connecting what we have learned throughout the week with the pure experience of the moment and the here and now.
